      1. Just did! I used to blog my writing, but I had stopped about a year ago, and your book inspired me to make this blog yesterday. I’m super excited to start it again!

  1. I randomly came across this book last a couple of weeks ago for a trip I was taking. This book is the most beautiful thing I’ve read. I can’t read more than a couple pieces, before I stop and say “WOW! That is amazing!”

  2. I am so happy to see this website! Ten years, and I Wrote This For You has grown incredibly! You should be so, so proud of everything you’ve accomplished, even the pieces that at first you weren’t sure would fit.
I have left a review on Loot, and will be leaving one on Amazon. Would you please consider selling some of the merchandise available on Society6 to Loot.co.za? Cheaper shipping within SA makes it easier for local fans to support you too πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
Have the best week ahead, and as always, thank you for finding me! #pleasefindthis #iainthomas #iwrotethisforyou.me

    1. I wish we could sell some of the society6 stuff locally, unfortunately it’s all manufactured overseas and bringing it in and then selling it here would make it crazy expensive – thank you so much for your kind words ❀

  3. Awh well that is completely understandable! Thank you so much for interacting with your fans so diligently on every platform! Have a wonderful week ahead, sending strength and endless happy wishes πŸ™‚

  4. I had a horrible experience with a poetry class and professor in college. I never wanted to get close to poetry after that. The cover of your book caught my eye and I began to leaf through it. So many things spoke to me that I am reasonably convinced you did write this for me. Your book is the first book of poetry I’ve ever purchased. Thank you!

  5. You say what I cannot, about what I see–which I thought HAD no words since I couldnt find them! (if that makes any sense lol). Thank God I found you, randomly looking for inspiration in a book store, and randomly reading through the pages of your book. I’m inspired to stop being deterred from my love for written expression, because it won’t “provide a livelihood”, as many say. Thanks Iain!

  6. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so raw after reading a book of poetry…….. like if the words I was reading were coming from my heart. Profound…
